What is AB trust?

Attorney-Client Relationship Formation:

  1. Around 20-minute free consultation before signing the will and trust retainer agreement.
  2. The attorney prepares a retainer agreement and sign.
  3. The client signs the retainer agreement.
  4. Transfer $3,000 retainer fees into the attorney’s trust account to initiate the will and trust procedure.
  5. If the $3,000 retainer fees are not enough during the will and trust procedure, then the client(s) have to transfer additional $3,000 retainer fees into the attorney’s trust account, otherwise the attorney will stop the services.
  6. After the case is done, the attorney will provide the details of fees and refund the unearned fees.

Will

  1. The client should provide a full list of assets of the will.
  2. Will drafting within 10 pages: $1,000; every page in addition: $100 per page.
  3. First hour discussion regarding the will is free.
  4. Optional: will modifications: $100 per page.
  5. Optional: additional consultation hourly rate is $330 per hour.

Trust

  1. A basic trust that transfer ownership of a real property and a bank account: $1,000.
  2. All types of assets transfer or assignment: $200 each.
  3. Optional: documents submissions at the San Diego recording office: $500.
  4. Optional: Pour over will (it means all assets that are unaccounted for in the trust will go to the trust at the moment of death): $200.
  5. First hour discussion regarding the trust is free.
  6. Optional: additional consultation hourly rate is $330 per hour.
